Denture relines are essential approximately every 6 – 12 months, depending on the individual. Over time, your jaw bone slowly changes shape. A reline involves remodeling the fitting surface of the denture to improve retention to accommodate these changes. So, if your dentures are feeling uncomfortable or loose, it’s probably time to book in for a reline.
Denture relines are necessary for both partial dentures and full dentures.
